You're yes then you're no......

Sometimes I don't get people. Maybe I'm not suppose to. It's like you think you know a person and it turns out that in the end you really don't. You know the type of person I'm referring to, the type that you love to hang out with and are fun to be around but wind up driving you up the damn wall. I like to diagnose this as the Hot and Cold Syndrome.

Let me put this in hypothetical terms. Then again screw it, let me tell you the half truth. (I'm arbitrary, don't judge! You should know this by now.) Anyway, I was hanging with a friend of mine at a bar. Sounds like a making of a bad joke, but the friend in question couldn't seem to make up their mind. They wanted to leave at a certain time since they had other stuff to do the next day, but instead kept saying they wanted to leave later then the next minute wanted to leave earlier. By this point I was thinking 'I hope everything's ok.' Keep in mind we were both sober, that is key in this tale. Come to find out they wanted to leave on account of someone else that they wanted to talk to some douche bag at their house and cut our night out even shorter. By this point I had that Katy Perry song stuck in my head. Needless to say this wasn't all of the story, but I'm not going to get into the rest because it would take too long to type up and I just don't feel like delving into it anymore.

I've noticed after all these years of life I seem to attract these kinds of people. You think I should be used to it by now, but it never gets any easier. I'm not trying to dis my friend, I love them as I would my own family, but there comes a time in people's lives when they need to wake up and see what they're doing to the people that they're closest to. I know we all make mistakes, hell, I've made a lot myself and I have apologized and tried to make up for every one of them and I know it's not easy. The point I'm trying to make is learn to make up your own mind and don't drive people ape shit crazy trying to decide.

A) Love the Hot And Cold Syndrome type analogy. Very many kudos for that.

B) People are just naturally douchebaggy. It'll be okay. She'll come around- one day- hopefully. Once, you know who, is out of the picture. If he ever gets out...
